After The Smoke - OIAM
The last one for tonight, don’t know much about this guy other than that he makes some great music :)
I think i read somewhere that he said he’ll drop a mixtape in a month or so, another thing to look forward to
Here are two more amazing songs from this guy ;)
Oh, and one more, featuring soft glas: http://m.soundcloud.com/afterthesmoke/after-the-smoke-x-the
After The Smoke - OIAM
Kilo Kish - Crosstown
One more thing I have to share after quite a lot of replay
This girl is amazing, if you like this song, check out Navy, and if you like that one too, then you’ll have to donwload all of her EPs/Mixtapes: Homeschool, Navy and K+.
Whatch her closely, she’s already a killer, but she’ll be so much more ;)
The Weeknd - Adaptation
Like i said earlier, i fucking love the weeknd’s music.
And I couldn’t wait for his Kissland album to drop, and since t hen it has been on regular playback, it’s so damn near perfection…it’s so the weeknd-ish.
All songs are pretty amazing, but this one got some extra replays lately, for one reason or another.
Hope the bastard’s going to come to France for a live :)
The Underachievers - T.A.D.E.D
I remember when i saw the clip from Herb Shuttles, i was so amazed by the visuals and by the flow of those two guys, I barely managed to wait for the mixtape which was pushed back until they delivered something completely amazing.
If someone asked me to explain what beast coast [a term i learned like, one week ago and i have to use it] i would just point them to the underachievers
I really hope they break it big and never stop spilling those amazing flows.
And go find their mixtape if you liked the song, it’s a mixtape, so it’s free, you don’t have any excuses.

Michel is my little love. I hadn’t seen him for almost 3 years, and on my quick trip to Serbia I got to spend some time with my beloved furball.
I had him since the day he was born, when he was still pretty blind and you could hold him in the palm of your hand. I remember that in that position, just running one finger up and down his tummy was enough to make him purr, my little ball of cuteness.
Don’t let his name confuse you, he’s male and he got that “human” name when we moved to Paris, but I tend to affectionately call him “Fatty” from time to time. After a few years spent in Paris and becoming “Monsieur le french cat”, he moved back to Serbia when my mother decided to head back and I decided to stay in Paris, I couldn’t give him all the attention he deserves if it were just the two of us.
I miss him quite a lot (but I don’t miss at all the cat hair he was leaving on clothes ), and when I go visit my father, where he’s staying, I am so glad that he still remembers me, and acts like we never separated.
Can’t wait to bother him again the next time I go!
This time, Ivan Dubsky and Great Skies (the duo know as Foryou) with the song Change Your Mind, remixed by Domino.

Quick Trip to Serbia: Part I
Last saturday I decided to make a quick trip to Belgrade, Belgrade is the capital of Serbia, “one of those eastern Europe countries” for those of you who didn’t know.
I spent a few days running all around and partying like crazy, I humbly think, that Belgrade is one of the best party cities, you can find something for almost any taste, and there are a sh*tload of places to go, be it bars, clubs or parks.
I mean every city has bars and clubs, and those kind of things, but what makes Belgrade special, is that people love to party and go out, you’ll find all the bars full even on workdays, and everything seems so cheap from a western point of view, especially if you’re used to prices in France.
So, drinks are cheap, people are quite open and like to show foreigners another side of the country than what they usually see on tv when it’s about Serbia, the girls are like, mega hot, I suppose guys are too, but a girl should confirm that last one. And did i speak about food? Holly cr*p, if you love meat you’ll love serbian food, if you’re a veggie…you’ll have some hard time over there. It’s simple, inexpensive and tasty I would love to find some of those things closer to Paris, it would save me some money…
The highlight of the trip was seeing my best friend again, and his brother, it was too long since whe saw each other the last time. I met some interesting people, had a lot of fun overall, had some great food (i’ll have to double up my jogging efforts because of that last one), and went to a few interesting places that opened recently.
One of those places was the garden of a “club” called KC Drugstore, it has its own unique feeling, it’s really like a overgrown, unattended garden, which was adapted McGuyver style into a “dance podium” with some seats here and there. You kind of get the houseparty feeling, and you’re cozy. The music was great, really great, all that was prepared by my best friend’s brother, who took turn on the mix decks between the rest of the Mystic Stylez crew.
Then, the suprise was a newly open bar on the rooftop (well…almost the rooftop) of a old huge print facility, it has a beautiful view on the city, especially by night. And it reminds me a lot of the “Frigos de Paris” in Paris, I suppose most of you don’t know what it is, but it’s a not well know place in Paris that could be a great place to visit, and change you from the normal sightseeing of Paris. Hmm, maybe I’ll make a post about that, could be interesting.
And lastly, the old Fort of Kalemegdan, built a few centuries ago, when the Ottoman Empire was invading the Kingdom of Serbia, it’s still up, and it’s a great place. It’s a mix of a huge park, and a old huge fort which overlooks all of Belgrade…the sight from there is just beautiful. And sometime, it hosts festivals, and partying in an old fort is quite the experience.
Meh, next time I guess I’ll go there with some friends and make them discover what i rediscovered.
And as a end note, I would recommend Belgrade to anyone. Forget what you think you know about Serbia, and go see it with your own eyes, then come back and tell me how you found it.
So, here’s another remix, it looks my playlist is always filled with remixes.
This time it’s a remix of Meleka’s Love You Baby by TS7.
It’s a great little remix for those hot days…

Passions - Photography: Part I
So, today I was thinking about speaking about one of my many passions, photography to be precise.
But I like it in a “weird” way, I mean I like all the technical aspects about photography and capturing the perfect picture and all that, but what I like the most, and I spent some time realizing it, is the camera itself and the process of taking pictures and using a analogue camera.
It all began a few years ago. First, my best friend got into analogue cameras, and he was always talking about it. Back then I remember I was thinking like, dude we’re in the late ’00s use a digital camera like everybody else. And then, a year later his brother came to Paris to visit me, and he had with himself a Canon Canonet QL17 GIII, and once I saw the film advance lever, it brought me back to my childhood. And since that point I saw analogue photography through different eyes, it would be more accurate to say that I rediscovered analogue photography from that moment.
At first it was all about that film advance lever, I find it to be a pleasant experience. Because it’s all about the experience of taking the picture for me, and not that much about the final result. I mean I care about my pictures, and I want them to be as “perfect” as possible, but what I enjoy the most is the moment of taking them and operating the camera.
And then there is also all the choice with different films, each has it’s own effects, I mean I know i can use Instagram (and I use it) or photoshop to edit the pictures and add effects, but using film has its own charm, and finding the perfect film for what you intend to capture is part of the game.
And since that point on, my analogue camera collection was only getting bigger and bigger. I still have a few cameras on my “to get” list, but it’s not a cheap passion, so i’m taking my time.
So I was thinking about talking about the cameras I own, and making some totally subjective reviews about each one of them, actually i’m not sure what form it will take, I only want to talk what and why I like those cameras.
The list will include more or less: Canon AE-1 Program, A1, F1 New, Mamiya C 330f, Mamiya 645 1000s and Pro TL, RB67, Yashica Mat 124, Yashica GTN and maybe some others.
The MV for this amazing song… can’t wait for the album to get out.
I really loved the mixtapes, especially House of Balloons and Echoes of Silence, and if this song is pretaste of how the new album will be, then we’ll be in for an amazing treat!
The Weeknd - Kiss Land
P.S. Does anybody know where i could get the weeknd - The Triology LP?
Yet another epic remix! This time the original song by DE$iGNATED (featuring vocals by Kyiki, which are by the way beautiful) was MASTERFULLY remixed by Kyogi.
DE$iGNATED - Valentine feat. Kyiki (Kyogi Remix)
Not that the normal version isn’t cool itself, but this remix of himself (with the feat. of Hodgy Beats from OFGWKTA) is just AWESOME!
Toro y Moi - So Many Details (Remix feat. Hodgy Beats)
This is just one of those songs, that i have to re-listen again and again and again. Since the past month or two, I think there hasn’t been a single day that i didn’t listen to the song at least once.
Kudos to Disclosure for the great music, and Eliza Doolittle for the enchanting vocals!
Disclosure - You & Me feat. Eliza Doolittle
Great song, both the music and the vocals, instantly fell in love once i heard it
